Season One:
In Season 1 of This Makes It Personal, we’ll be taking a deep look at the Israel-Hamas War, hearing from people living through it on the ground. You'll be encouraged to question your own viewpoints and confront the often uncomfortable realities underlying global challenges like this one.
In the first two episodes, Ben sits down with Palestinian-Israeli peace activists, Amira Mohammed and Ibrahim Abu Ahmed. Amira and Ibrahim, hosts of Unapologetic: The Third Narrative, shed light on their unique identities as both Israelis and Palestinians, while sharing their experiences on October 7th and the devastating aftermath of war and heartbreak in Gaza. Through intimate and candid dialogue, we learn their perspectives on the ongoing Israel-Hamas War, and how its ripple effects are unfolding in the West. Together, we explore the path forward towards peace and dignity for all people.
